So obsessed with this cool, energetic promo for Kenzo's SP/SU '13 "tiger fever". I mean doesn't the bold colors and upbeat music get you excited!| For the gumbo, you will need stewed tomatoes, onion, corn, adobo seasoning, sausage, and shrimp. For the cornbread, you will need Jiffy mix, 1 egg, and 1/3 cup of milk |
Sautte onions and sausages in a pan with a bit of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). Meanwhile have a pot of the stewed tomatoes seasoned to taste with adobo seasoning simmering on the stove.
Blend the Jiffy mix, set oven at 400 F and let bake for 15-20 minutes. I know, I know the cornbread isn't homemade but I have reached chef potential just yet!
Add the sausages/onion, corn, and shrimp to the stewed tomatoes & let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Serve gumbo over rice with cornbread.
Make sure you're using a sweater made out of material that is easy to deal with, like cotton. Have sharpened scissors and a fresh, new razor ready.
Begin making rips starting from left to right. For a neater look, make a uniformed pattern. I wanted a more rugged look so I did not implement a pattern.
If any of your rips are too large just go back in with needle and matching thread and make the holes smaller.
